About Us – The Vision Behind IELTS Karo
We are Yasir Saeed and AbuBakar Khalid, the co-founders of IELTSKaro.com — now proudly incubated at the National Incubation Center Lahore (NICL), one of Pakistan’s most prestigious startup ecosystems.
Out of over 1,200 startups, IELTS Karo was selected among the top 85 to pitch and ultimately made it to the top 30 that secured a coveted place in the NICL incubation cohort. This milestone reaffirms our mission and unlocks powerful opportunities to scale our impact globally.
Our Journey
It all started when Yasir Saeed, an IELTS instructor with 8.5 bands and years of experience teaching thousands of students online, crossed paths with one of his own students — AbuBakar Khalid. What began as a teacher-student relationship evolved into a shared mission: to build something greater than a classroom — a platform that empowers IELTS aspirants everywhere.
Together, we bonded over the common struggles faced by students: decoding the tricky IELTS formats, mastering grammar in context, and managing test-day anxiety. We believed there had to be a better way — and we decided to create it.
Why “IELTS Karo”?
The word “Karo” in Urdu means “to do” — a call to action.
